Summer 2016 (July) was the first time Russia held a World Dog Show! This meant that we finally were going to have enough dogs to compete with, the Show promised to be intriguing and the title you get would have a value.
Big event means a big preparations. We've started ours long before. Daily runs after the bike, a little of harness pulling, regular swimming - resulted in an exellent muscle corset of the dogs just in 2 months. The most interesting part however was there to stay - Eidera has never been to a Dog Show in her life. I didn't want to make her arrival from France public so i was avoiding the Shows as a result. Kind of became a little superstitious throughout life. Human thoughts are very powerful and when it comes to dogs, it can strike them twice as hard. That's my experience.
World Dog Show - 2016
Just close before the big event I took Dera to 2 Shows as a viewer so that she can get familiar with the atmosphere. With no doubt however, an international Dog Show in a huge pavilion is nothing similar in it's atmosphere to a small regional show held in a shade of the park trees. Despite that Eidera being a true appenzeller felt fine while being close to the owner and her friend Indi.
Eidera was competing in a Junior class.

Attending he first ever Dog Show Lionne-Eidera won her class, becoming a Best Junior Female and then later bacame Best Junior in the competition with the male from Finland.
Indira has granted the first place to her competitor because she was limpind a little due to an old injure. She never got upset about it because she loves the shows for another reason. She like to come to people (which she doesn't even know) do a bunny trick and get her treats as a reward.
Indira's son - Ersen iz Blagorodnogo Doma, who was competing in a champion class became the winner of his class, then he became the Best Male at the comparison of males and, finally, he got the title Best Of Breed at the overall comparison, becoming a World Winner 2016.
